What Lukaut keeps, and what it never asks for
This notice covers the demonstration deployment and needs legal review before any national launch.
What a report contains
A report is: a photo, an optional short description, the district or electorate it belongs to, and the time you saw it. Location is optional — you can share your GPS position or pick the area yourself. Before a photo is stored, hidden metadata inside the file (such as camera details and embedded GPS tags) is stripped out.
What we do not collect
Web reports carry no name, no phone number, no email address and no account. There is no sign-up. We cannot contact you, and we cannot tell anyone who you are — because we never knew.
Abuse protection
To slow down flooding and abuse, the service keeps a record when limits are hit. Network identifiers in those records are HMAC-hashed before storage — raw IP addresses are not stored.
How long reports are kept
Reports and their photos are retained as a secure official record and are not deleted on a schedule. They are kept for as long as the responsible authority requires.
Who sees your report
Only vetted monitoring officers who sign in to the review desk. Reports a reviewer verifies are forwarded to the proper authority. Reports are never published or shown publicly.
Nothing links back to you
Once you send a report it is with the reviewers — there is no account, no reference code, and no way to look a report up again afterwards. That is deliberate: because we hold nothing that identifies you and hand back no claim-back handle, nobody can tie a report to who sent it, including us, and there is nothing you could later be pressured into revealing.
Clearing your own traces
The Leave quickly button replaces this page in your browser with a neutral site, so the back button does not return here. It cannot remove earlier history — to do that, clear your browsing history in your browser settings, or use a private/incognito window from the start.

A contact channel will be published before any official deployment. See who runs Lukaut.
